Today we have made a general overview
of what we have learnt about attention to diversity. In order to do so Miguel
has proposed some questions to reflect about the topic.
- What is attention to diversity?
Attention to diversity is a set of
measures which are taken in order to provide an adapted education to the needs
of everyone. Thus, we can find some objectives and adaptations to the
mainstream education which vary from each need. Some of the target groups are: disabled
people, highly gifted people, people who cannot attend school because of
disease or travelling and so on. The aim of attention to diversity is providing
an equal education taking into account everyone's needs, since LOE establishes
that.
- Why is important in our degree?
Attention to diversity is really
importance because only knowing the needs and measures we can carry out, we
will be able to help and guide our students.
- What do you like about the
collaborative activity?
I like this activity because we were
really involved not just learning but also teaching and planning our own
activities. As the interaction was promoted, we learn most than in a
traditional lecture. Therefore, I have found this methodology interested,
because of the motivation and the participation we have develop during it.
