Group of experts

We used the methodology called "group of experts" in order to answer some questions which were related to school guidance and counselling in Spain.

The methodology consisted in assigning each topic to a member of the group. Afterwards, all the "experts" of the same topic had to read together the text which provided the necessary information. During the reading, experts had to understand the text and help the other members. Once it was read, all the experts together developed a main map in order to explain their topic to the members of the first group. After that, the first group gathered together again and each of the experts explained his topic to the rest of the members of the group.

Eventually, the teacher gave us an individual test to measure the amount of knowledge we had acquired during this work. When we finished it, we had to self-assess our answers and it was a way as way to reinforce those new concepts.
