After four months having school guidance and counselling, the term is
over. It is a pity because now that I know the main concepts, I think that it
would be the perfect moment to start the subject and go a little bit deeper. As
I have said before, now we know how school guidance is about and what is the
role of a counsellor. In addition, we have learn what are the main problems
that counsellors have to deal with, most of the times related to communication.
Nonetheless, I think that we have not only learned about the content of the
subject but also about some competences. In my opinion, this is the best thing
in which the subject has contributed to my personal development. Some of this
competences have to do with ITC knowledge and how to deal with electronic
devices (although they sometimes cause a lot of problems). We have also
developed those competences which are related to know how to work in groups:
how to cooperate, explain things to others, organize information and tasks and
so on. All the activities proposed have been directed towards collaborative
learning and cooperation. I think that this has been very important because we
won't work on our own in the future and that is something that needs to be
prepared.
